Craps Lake Tahoe

The problem with the craps game that night at MontBleu is that the dealers were just all somber-faced as if they didn’t want me there. Going through the motions, as they say. Thursday’s real craps game will be from the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, Lake Tahoe. We’re vacationing in North Lake Tahoe (in Tahoe Vista) in a few weeks and I was wondering if there are any casinos in the area (by the Stateline on the north side) that offer at least 3x4x5x odds on craps. Looks like the Hyatt Regency and Crystal Bay only offer double odds. I can’t find much info about the craps game at Tahoe Biltmore. At most Lake Tahoe casinos, you'll find slot machines, poker, blackjack, roulette, craps, and sports betting. All of them also have a player's club, designed to keep you playing in their casino by offering discounts, gaming credits and special offers.

Harrah's Lake Tahoe Hotel and Casino has a total of 512 hotel rooms available. The second largest casino in Stateline would be Harveys Lake Tahoe Resort & Casino with 901 gaming machines / table games. The Harveys Lake Tahoe Resort & Casino has a total casino square footage of 53,000 square feet. There is a hotel with 742 hotel rooms available.

In South Lake Tahoe, the land of black diamond mountain biking, zigzag turns, steeps, kickers, log stunts, and technical rock staircases are the norm. True beginner trails are hard to come by. Yet, not every mountain biker is at an intermediate, advanced, or expert level. For this reason, I have sought out four tempered cruisers that will appease novice riders, or even veteran riders who want to take it easy and soak in some stunning scenery.

If driving or biking up Ski Run Blvd, take a right onto Saddle Road and pick up the trailhead where Saddle Road dead-ends. Coming at it from the reverse direction, follow Oneidas Road, off Pioneer Trail near Meyers, to Fountain Place Road (FS 1201) and park at the last dirt pull-out before the road begins to ascend (bottom of Corral Trail). The trailhead at this end takes the form of a double-track dirt road called Powerline Road.
